This Open House is being held in conjunction with the public Request for Proposals or "RFP" that is currently available from the Portland Development Commission July 10th to September 16th. Through this RFP, proposals are being sought from community developers for the sale and redevelopment of the former "King Food Mart" located at 3510 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Located at the crossroads of the King, Eliot and Boise Neighborhoods at NE Fremont Street, the property's redevelopment is intended to attain community objectives to encourage new development to the site, to benefit the local community, and to bring desirable goods and services into the neighborhood.
