Riverside Parkway Corporate Center (RPCC)
In January 2002, PDC purchased 38.4 acres of prime industrial land at the eastern edge of the Urban Renewal Area. The purpose was to leverage, high density, high quality employers and jobs.
PDC then partnered with the Panattoni Development Company to design and construct the necessary $9 million in infrastructure improvements to the property including the NE Portal Way cul-de-sac, half street improvement on NE 185th, utilities, and landscaping.
Shortly after completion, a 4.72 acre-parcel was sold to the Portland Hospital Services Corporation to construct its new facilities there, generating $1.2 million in revenue back to PDC which was used to provide below market interest rate loans to businesses throughout the district. In June 2007, PDC sold another 13.5 acres to DP Partners which constructed its 260,000 square foot Logisticourt project and brought in more than $3 million in PDC program revenue. In 2009, PDC sold 10.8 acres to Morgan Distributing and DP Partners constructed Morgan’s new 100,000 square foot headquarters. And, in early 2010, PDC and DP Partners partnered to relocate LaCrosse Footwear’s new manufacturing headquarters to Logisticourt, bringing 250 quality jobs to the site.
