“Mark has exceptional skills in financial analysis and planning,” said Mayor Potter. “Those skills combined with his outstanding commitment to community service in Portland make him the ideal candidate for this very important position. I welcome him into service for the City of Portland and know that he will be a great asset to the Commission and the community in his new role.”

Rosenbaum will join three other citizens on the commission: Doug Blomgren, an attorney with Bateman Seidel Miner Blomgren Chellis and Gram, who will serve as Chair until the PDC election of officers is held later this summer/fall; Eric Parsons, President/CEO of Standard Insurance Company and StanCorp Financial Group Inc.; and newest member Bertha Ferran, a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Windermere Mortgage Services, has worked in the real estate industry for more than 25 years. A fifth vacancy on the Commission replacing current Commissioner Janice Wilson is anticipated to be filled later this summer.
