Eric Iverson has served as the General Counsel of the Portland Development Commission since March 2009. He is the chief legal officer for the Commission and acts as legal adviser to the Board, Executive Director and Leadership Team on matters affecting PDC’s programs, activities and internal governance. He also oversees a team of attorneys and paralegals responsible for all aspects of PDC’s legal affairs.
Mr. Iverson has over 25 years experience practicing law in both the public and private sectors, specializing in real estate and business law. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Iverson served as senior assistant attorney general and chair of the real estate practice group at the Oregon Department of Justice. Mr. Iverson also previously served as in-house counsel for Rainier Bank and for the Jack Benaroya Company in Seattle.
Mr. Iverson received his Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College and his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Davis School of Law.
